The Consultative Committee of the United Front declares its solidarity with the Alevi population in
\nSyria who have been subjected to a massacre by forces of the new Islamist and ultra-reactionary
\ngovernment of Syria. Entire families, including innocent women and children, were murdered.
\nNothing can justify this! We refuse to collectively punish the Alevi population for the crimes of
\nBashar al-Assad. Those responsible for crimes committed during the Assad era must be found and
\nseverely punished. The people of Syria want to live in peace and equality, regardless of their
\nreligion or ethnicity. The United Front supports this wish and the struggle for a Syria without
\nimperialist interference from outside or Islamist-reactionary oppression from within!
