This is Harke’s call for war
\nIt is a revolutionary declaration
\nMade by the exploited and oppressed people
\nA series of class struggles
\nComing down from ages
\nNow, Harke has joined this struggle
\nSo, he is now immortal
\nAs long as he continues to flow
\nIn the current of this stream
\nHe will remain invincible
\nThe temporary defeat or victory will not matter
\nThe ultimate victory will go to Harke
\nWhether Harke will stay alive
\nor
\nWill be dead
\nHis war will continue
\nHis war will keep on going
\nFor a thousand years
\nIn the deserts of Sahara
\nIn the islands of Malaya
\nIn the forests of Burma
\nIn the bay of Panama
\nOn the lands of Bangal
\nIn the city of Paris
\nIt will go on
\nWith the flow of
\nKoshi , Mechi and Narayani
\nWith the waves of Seti, Bheri and Mahakali
\nOver the peaks of Sagarmatha and Dhaulagiri
\nIn the plains of Mithila
\nAlong the banks of Bagmati
\nIn the villages of Lumbini
\nIn the waters of Gandaki, Rapti and Karnali
\nThe war of Harke will run on
\nAs long as the discriminatory circle of
\nHeaven and hell exists
\nWhen the globe will be liberated from
\nAll these trappings
\nThe day will be the end of Harke’s struggle<\/p>\n

O deceitful and treacherous people
\nCapitalist and their agents
\nCompradors and profiteers
\nBootlicking bureaucrats and their sidekicks
\nReactionaries of the whole world
\nListen carefully
\nNow Harke has become rebellious
\nHe will wreak a havoc
\nHe’ll destroy
\nYour religion, culture and rituals
\nYour faulty systems, laws and government
\nYour immorality and misconducts
\nYour treachery and corruption
\nAnd will lay the foundations of
\nA new society
\nHenceforth
\nHarke will not be in dread of anyone
\nNeither of fire and water
\nNor of waves in the sea
\nor
\nDreadful black clouds
\nNor of lightning and thunderbolt
\nYour jail and fetters
\nWill not prevent me from marching forward
\nI will not retreat now
\nIt was my fear that robbed me of everything
\nMy cows and buffaloes were taken away
\nThe lenders embezzled my land
\nIf I had not succumbed to him
\nIf I had faced him
\nI would not have been in such a plight
\nIf all the exploited and oppressed were united
\nA fistful of oppressors could do no harm<\/p>\n

Now I realize
\nHow strong I am
\nMy power is inherent
\nIn song of Himalayan Danphe bird
\nIn the horn of the rhinos of terai
\nIn gurans flowers of the hills
\nThe war is going on
\nIn Asia, Africa and Latin America
\nThe flame of war is emanating
\nFrom the chimney of revolution in Europe and America
\nSo, why should I be fearful of anything?<\/p>\n

I am a slave now
\nBecause inside me exists feudalism
\nI’m helpless
\nBecause in me dwells my enemy
\nWhen I step forward
\nThey pull me from behind<\/p>\n

Today millions and millions
\nOf farmers and laboures
\nAre subjugated because of
\nThese feelings of slavery within them
\nNow this mental bondage
\nHas to be snapped
\nA cataclysm must come
\nLet there be a rainfall of fire
\nLet there run a rivulet of blood
\nOnly then there will be eternal peace
\nAnd a new life will begin
\nA peaceful, independent and beautiful life
\nSo my first battle is to be fought with myself
\nI have to beget a new revolutionary Harke inside me
\nOnly then the door will be open
\nOn a new era<\/p>\n

Who can exist running away from problems?
\nWho can exist fearing injustice?
\nNow I realize
\nWe must not flee our problems
\nWe must not be in dread of immorality
\nWe must fight against them
\nOnly then we can exist
\nOnly then we can get a few morsels of food
\nIn lack of bravery
\nYour own shadow will chase you<\/p>\n

Only now I realize
\nThat we must revolt to get peace
\nWe must be ready to die to make a living
\nWe must shed blood for freedom
\nIn lack of these resolves
\nPeace will be a curse
\nLife will be just a living corpse
\nToday I have come to this realization<\/p>\n

So Harke makes a call
\nWe must rise
\nLabourers must rise
\nFarmers must rise
\nStudents must rise
\nWe must carry the fluttering red flag
\nAll over the world
\nThe red flag embellished with sickle and hammer
\nWe’ll not get rights in alms
\nWe’ll have to fight with guns
\nThe white terror begets the red terror
\nPower comes from the barrels of guns
\nInklaab! Zindabaad!!
\nLet the revolution be immortal
\nLong live the unity of labourers and farmers!
\nAll the workers of the world, unite
