Condolence Statement

NCP (Mashal) expresses its deep sorrow over the passing of Comrade Sanjay Singhvi, leader of the CPI-ML (Mass Line) of India, and extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, as well as to all the leaders and cadres of his party.

Comrade Singhvi previously served as the Assistant Coordinator of ICOR and was currently serving as the Coordinator of ICOR’s Asian Coordination. He was also a renowned advocate and labor leader in India.

He visited Nepal many times in connection with various programs of our party, as well as through his involvement in ICOR’s international and Asian coordination efforts. As a result, our party shared a warm, fraternal relationship with him.

His passing is a great loss to the international revolutionary movement and to the communist movement in India. Moreover, our party has lost a close and trusted friend of the communist movement in Nepal.

We are deeply shocked by his demise.
