
Today in Kathmandu, a joint big protest demonstration was held by 12 leftist parties, organizations, and groups in Nepal. The demonstration addressed issues such as support for the Palestinian liberation movement, opposition to the genocide being carried out by Israel in Gaza, opposition to attack upon Iran by American imperialism and Israel. Eventually, the protest turned into a mass meeting.

- CPN (Majority) leader Com. Sagar Limbu
- Patriotic Socialist Front representative Com. Gopal Kiranti
- Coordinator of the Political Dialogue Campaign, Com. Sangeet Sorata
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal, Com. Rishi Kattel, and conducted by the Bagmati Province Spokesperson of NCP (Mashal), Com. Samir Singh.
Addressing the gathering, Com. Chitra Bahadur K.C. said: “Only the leftists can truly oppose imperialism. Today’s demonstration against imperialism has proven that. It is equally significant that such broad solidarity among the leftist forces of Nepal has emerged. This grand rally was held in support of the Palestinian people’s liberation struggle, in opposition to the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, and against American imperialism and Israeli aggression in Iran. We must hope and work toward ensuring that this unity among Nepal’s leftist forces continues to grow stronger in the days ahead.”
